Food & Supplements

I'm allergic to a variety of foods, what do I do?

For best results, we recommend you follow the plan step by step, but there is some flexibility if there are ingredients you dislike, are allergic to, or cannot get in your part of the world. Use the food exchange list found in the plan to swap ingredients when needed. Remember, you can also swap full meals. You may swap breakfasts for breakfasts and snacks for snacks. Lunches and dinners are interchangeable, and snacks are optional. 

Are the recipes different from the 30DC?

The 10 Day Gut Health Reset is designed to optimize gut flora and is a reset period, not a daily lifestyle. The meal plan is not intended to be used long term. However, you will surely discover favorites and can incorporate them into your daily meal plan rotation! 

Do I have to buy the supplements?

You will still get results if you stick to the meal plan Danette has created. However, you can enhance your results with the Turmeric + Ginger capsules and the Probiotic. These are the supplements Danette uses daily, so she wanted to share them with you to help you get the most out of your 10 Day Gut Health Reset. 

Do you have vegetarian options? 

For most of the recipes you'll find in the 10 Day Gut Health Reset, you can make simple swaps such as omitting the meat in the Rainbow Bowl or Inner Love Salad and sprinkle in 2-3 tablespoons of hemp or chia seeds instead. You can also add a scoop of clean, vegetarian collagen powder in place of meat in many recipes or swap recipes to another meatless recipe within the plan. If you're a Fit Rise 365 member, you can select vegetarian meals from our Fit Rise 365 membership site that are free of the foods to avoid on the Gut Health Reset Plan. You will be provided three vegetarian friendly meals that are also good on your gut that you can swap into the plan anywhere you'd like to.

Do you have vegan options?

We do not offer vegan options, however, you can swap in any of your favorite vegan substitutions that don't have ingredients included in the Foods to Avoid list. General & Nutritional Info

Do Fit Rise members participate for free?

The Gut Health Challenge was released in the Fall of 2019. If you were a member of Fit Rise 365 at that time, you still have access to it in your email. This is the Gut Health Program; it's not an active, fixed-start-date challenge, it has no Facebook group access, and isn't a part of the Fit Rise 365 membership, though you're welcome to buy and take advantage of the offer if you would like to!

How many pages are in the 10 Day GHR?

The 10 Day Gut Health Reset has 72 pages. If you want, you can print the main info only, which is 27 pages.

I have health issues. Will the 10 Day GHR help me?

Moving to a diet of whole, clean, healing foods has helped with many people's health issues. Danette's 10 Day Gut Health Reset is filled with clean, healing foods so you may find some relief in following the reset. Of course, you will want to speak with your healthcare provider, first. 

Is it Keto?

The 10 Day Gut Health Reset does not follow the Keto diet. The meal includes coconut sugar, oats, brown rice, and quinoa. 

Will I lose weight?

The 10 Day Gut Health Reset is not specifically designed to release weight. However, optimizing your gut health is a powerful way to support a longer-term weight release goal. I highly recommend you join Danette’s 30-Day New You Challenge, which is designed for weight release if that is your goal. 

Is the GHR suitable for people who suffer with FODMAPS foods and grain intolerances?

Why is this program only 10 days?

Gut Health can be drastically improved in a matter of days with gut-healthy foods, mindful practices, and supplements.

Is there a facebook group for the 10 Day Gut Health Reset?

Because the program is only 10 days, there is not a facebook group for this program. The short time frame to complete this program doesn’t provide enough time for people to be added to a group and gain any benefit from it. If you are looking for ongoing support of a like-minded community you should join Fit Rise 365.

Can my husband do this program with me?

Yes, but if he feels hungry, he can double his breakfast and dinner portions. Snacks and lunch should remain the same.
